The job hunt has not been successful yet. I had a big interview on Tuesday and got turned down. It was a customer service job paying only $20 an hour. I have over 4 years of customer service experience and a year and a half of supervisory experience. I guess maybe I bombed the interview. I thought it went well but I guess I was mistaken because they sent me the denial email the next day. I’m trying not to get discouraged, it’s only been a week since i got fired. But unemployment said it could take three weeks to process, and that’s a long time to go with no income. My may rent is taken care of so that’s good. I just need encouragement.

oh darn I was hoping you’d get that job you applied for…you seemed so happy…ask your church to pay june and july’s rent to take the pressure off you I think is what needs to be done.

It’s difficult. I remember applying for maybe 40-50 jobs and didn’t even get a interview. But I currently have a job that’s a good fit. I only work in the afternoon/evening so the worst of the medication hangover is gone while working.

Hey guys! I got an interview for this coming Tuesday! It’s for an admin assistant position. Only problem is it’s an hour commute by bus, but it is a Monday-Friday type of deal.

Interview is tomorrow! So nervous, it’s a bit of a commute and it doesn’t pay great but I feel like I’d enjoy the job more than what I’m currently doing

There are way more people than there are available jobs. It isnt going to get any better at this point. There will many layoffs in the near future. Trades will be working but the fieldz would get oversatured. Push for Ubi dividends.
