I always have the TV on, pretty much. Sports or The Office reruns, usually. Or MeTV Toons (old cartoons). I know I have too much screen time, but I just can’t be alone with my thoughts for too long
That is because the wiring in our brains is muddled. The sense of perception is twisted and confused. The notion of predicting the future and present becomes entangled.
It is not a supernatural power or anything. It is just schizophrenia.
Well, today I’m listening to news on the radio instead of tv. I don’t think I will do a complete fast, but I’m cutting back. Maybe I’ll try to only use the telly in the evening.
Did a no tv before 6pm today as well. It’s like you are forced to do something else to occupy the mind. I excersised, went for a walk, listened to music, but I also started reading a bit, which I haven’t done in a long time. Seems good. And the mind is maybe sharper in a way from avoiding visual stimuli.
