All of those are psychiatric meds? I’m on ten but I only take Seroquel and Webutrin for my mental health and the rest are medications for physical problems.

I’m on 24 psych and non psych. You may be ill despite being on multiple drugs but for me I’d be in worse shape. I just get along as best I can and take them. If I don’t think I need them I talk to my doctors. I do as much as I can to be knowledgeable and establish a good rapport with my doctors so we trust each other.

Thats alot sweet potato… If it works for you then thats all that matters. My old pdoc retired and I am meeting my new one very soon.

Thinking about it now I hope she actually listens like my old pdoc. I think I will be on my best behavior

Mine retired too. I had him 12 years. A long time. But I’m supposed to see a new pdoc in June. I’m very frightened. I hate change and meeting new people. Maybe my old pdoc was really crappy and I was too scared to switch all along. Maybe I’ll get someone really berserk. lol :joy:

My new pdoc will probably be a med nazi…

Ive heard stories about people who were committed or forced to take stuff they didn’t want or that the pdoc just didn’t care …

Yeah, you should get those reviewed by a doctor. They may have been tacking on more drugs for awhile so it’s good to get those looked at and maybe they’ll cut a couple out.

I think the younger doctors are a tad more progressive and up to date on current medication. Science is always evolving so having doctors who keep up with that is key.
