When you quit smoking did you quit caffeine first?

Would it help me to quit caffeine first?

Id think so. If you normally smoke and drink coffee simultaneously, then it might help to break the association by getting rid of coffee too.

Sleep in for 12 hours on the first day you quit. That way you will only have half a day to go to get that first 24hours under your belt

Drink lots of bottled water and have snacks on hand.

I’m 2 years and 8 months off of tobacco…smoked for 35 years.

Not me. I think its hard enough to quit one without adding another in.

probably best to do one at a time i imagine. i mean if i had to fight two people id rather fight them one at a time. i guess its the same with a larger battle and also and inner battle

No, use caffeine to help get nicotine off your back then quit caffeine if you must. Nicotine is much harder to quit and much more important to quit imo.

i agree. especially the smoking part… i dont think caffiene is that bad unless you overuse it. i have a similar perspective with nicotine, yet most people dont use it in moderation so sometimes its best to quit. SMOKING on the other hand… like inhaling smoke… i think thats bad 100% of the time…

if i had to attack these addictions id go…. cigarettes → nicotine gum and if i wanted to quit nicotine id do that then caffiene last.

Caffeine in moderation is good for you. Excellent cns stimulant.

Increases reaction time.
