the storm shouldn’t be life threatening…so why am I so afraid? I d k I think it’s just that I’m upset really about it…lots to be thankful for…even if we lose electricity we have gas heat so we’re fine….got the bedroom heaters running too.

14 inches of snow for two days

That’s a lot of snow. Enough that I’m glad you’re stocked up on food. The roads won’t be good by day 2. Where I live the plow trucks and salt trucks are usually on top of it, but once you get more than 6 inches in a day it takes a little catching up to get the roads back under control.
That said, I truly think you’ll be ok. What’s the expected highs and lows for those 2 days?

Sounds like the electricyty and gas will be a scary factor if it goes off.
