I mean, the question begs - is autism a mental illness? In my book it’s neurodivergence.

I question the clozapine but I have little fight left in me now

Yes- but it can be accompanied by a mental illness. I firmly believe that my schizophrenia was due to the stress of being an undiagnosed autistic child and teenager. 10 years at boarding school didn’t help. I would say I’ve been more disabled by the autism than by the schizophrenia.
