My psychiatrist who saw me before my autism diagnosis suggested I needed to get assessed for autism… I know longer see this doc… but he said it was stress related psychosis… But I cannot see any info of autism causing it. And I have no way of asking him. But he’s the only one who said it and he was right about the autism. Which makes me want to trust him.
I was being seen on and off by the mental health team for 10 years and he was the only one who pointed to it.
And in 15 years ive only had two psychotic episodes.
