Cognitive disorder with psychotic symptoms or psychotic disorder with cognitive impairments?

I think I have psychotic disorder with cognitive symptoms if thats your question.

Might have some mild problems with cognition, memory and motivation mainly. Possible psychosis is kept in check with drugs, so that is negative pretty much if not for the negative symptoms themselves.

I would decide on a case-by-case basis.

For example, I know that you have ASD, so maybe your ASD preceded your psychotic symptoms.

That is my daughter’s line of reasoning. The stress of being an undiagnosed autistic child and teenager, at boarding school, leading to psychosis. Social and cognitive ill effects being more deep rooted and disabling than the positive and negative symptoms of sz/sz-a.
