I amazed myself, the next longest I ever held a job was 4 years. And after I got my first job when I was 17 in 1978 I had about 18 jobs after that in the next two years and I never lasted more than three months at any of them. Schizophrenia was good to me, at my first job after being diagnosed I lasted four years and I’ve had a couple other jobs for four years. As you could guess, I’m tired of working. If I didn’t need the money at my current job to survive I would have retired already.
Early congrats on your anniversary!
Good things nick congratulations
Congratulations !
Great job!!!
i struggle with sticking with jobs too. Oftentimes it was because of abuse I was enduring at home, mental illness, or my coworkers being mean to me. I hope I can stay where I am for a long time. I’d love to be an expert at it. But for now, I’m glad I can pass things off to my manager as oftentimes I’m unsure, especially with billing stuff. But I’m getting better at it for sure.
I’m very happy for you. And I hope there’s a way you can afford to retire soon since you want that.
15 year or 5 year?
15 years, I fixed it.
That’s amazing. Great going @77nick77
Congratulations @77nick77!
Many, many congratulations! That’s really quite an achievement!
Congrats! 151515
Congratulations @77nick77 ! That’s an amazing milestone in life.
Congrats on your job anniversary!
Congrats, but you’re 65 and still working? Couldn’t you get disability? Esp since you paid into it via tax?
I believe @77nick77 gets disability and works part time , as well. Same thing as I was doing until last Saturday. Some of us have a hard time making ends meet on disability alone.
Congrats, Nick. This is something to be proud of – holding down a job for 15 years is not easy, for anyone. I wish I could hold down a job for even 15 months
I respect you for being that diligent. You must be proud of your accomplishment
Your hard work has paid off.
