Is this normal to replaces beers with ciggies after one has stopped drinking? does this mean I have an addictive personality? I’ve been stressed recently because I think everybody is out me and been having intrusive thoughts that my care team are stealing my thoughts and god is talking to me on the radio, I got proscribed 5mg of Haldol and this as helped a lot, but I’m smoking 20 pack a day., I have been having mood issues as well like being really happy and content, but not manic, very productive with 7 projects on the go, can’t concentrate on anything but was feeling happy now I’ve a little bit crashed and feel down in the dumps, regretting very much my spending habits I’ve done over the 3 months. I suffer from incontience and I have been hoarding pads because I’m worried I’d run out as this causes mew anxiety and I spent over £900 a pads in the last 3 months and I’ve got boxes and boxes of them. My group home manager been in my bedroom and says its a fire risk.. Anyway want to say I want to quit smoking and hoarding.

It’s common for recovering alcoholics and addicts to have cross addictions. Some people turn to food or gambling or sex or other things like nicotine when they quit drinking or doing drugs.
