That’s about 4 months honestly I feel more stable and a lot happier
Congratulations that’s a huge accomplishment
That’s good. I havent drank since 2015.
Wow 10 years?! That’s amazing!
Yep. I was never addicted, but alcohol was a problem for me. I regret ever smoking weed or drinking booze.
I regret it too. I really really regret smoking that first cigarette….still trying to quit 16 years later.
I look back on my life and wish I was independent enough to avoid the people and social situations where i smoked and drank.
Drinking alcohol brings nothing positive. Sober life is the best life ![]()
Well done Rain @Rainstorm
My best friend really dragged me down by getting me involved in drugs. I was curious and in love with my friend so I fell hard.
Lots of people make bad choices to bond with others.
Many of my friends ended up betraying me but I still have my best friend and he’s changed and apologized to me
I only have ties with one guy Ive known for over 20 years. I have been serious friends with maybe 20 people and all are gone.
Most people stopped talking to me once I became ill
Same. Usually I met them and was normal, hung out for a while and did something really unusual or seriously unwelcome, they let it slide, something happens again then the friendship becomes strained then I eventually become withdrawn and psychotic and they just disappear or they see me psychotic and run for the hills.
Same. I started getting paranoid and anxious late in high school and all my friends started ghosting me.
I stopped drinking in August the 18. 2004. So sober for around 22 years But I’m now using most of my money to pay back debt and smoking Cigarettes.
Got clean and sober in 1990, best thing I ever did. I was heading downhill and towards disaster before I got clean. Congratulations on four months, keep it up.
That’s great ![]()
