Anyone else here chain smoke all day because of antipsychotics?

And what can I do about it? My brain is deprived of dopamine

I use a juul my mom thinks the other vapes cause my anxiety attacks. I don’t think so but I’m seeing if that’s the case. I have a nice smok kit coils are expensive too though. If I have to have a vice it’s this one better than like alcohol or meth addiction

Used to smoke alot. Bad for you. Quit with a smoking cessation aid(starts with a “V”) and nicotine gum. Been a over a month since I went almost wihtout and been maybe a week and a half(?) or 2 weeks(?) since I have had a cheater puff off a cig. I started like April 2nd. Had about 2 packs over the first 3 or 3 1/2 weeks and then cut it back to nothing.

Am now looking for an alternate stimulant boost.

Breathing much better. Especially when sleeping.

No cough.

You may want to look into NAC. There are studies that suggest it may help with nicotine cravings and provide energy. However, it does interfere with certain medications.

im not sure what i do whenever i want to quit is keep breaking my lighters lol i just throw them hard at the ground and they explode… cant smoke if you dont have a lighter. if i buy one, as soon as i get the courage to quit again i just break it again. usually works.

on a side note honestly i think in some ways vaping although its seen as “healthier” can be worse because its constant. Whereas smoking is like “hey im gonna go out for a smoke” vaping is just like an all day thing for most people. can wake up dont even have to roll out of bed and have a vape etc so i think its more addictive

I was a slave for nicotine for 25 years. A pack a day before it got taxed out of existence out here but honestly the champix/chantix got me off and it was so easy…breaking up buts to roll new cigs…totally disgusting but there’s newer drugs but it worked for me.

No. It’s probably not the antipsychotics because that seems to be a different neural network but those nicotine receptors are there for me and honestly I couldn’t have gotten off them but for chemical help…talk to your treatment team. It’s worth the effort because cigs are a horribly addictive thing.

I’m in the same boat. I smoke about 40 ciggs daily and enjoy that very much. Those really help me through the days and life. I’ve been a chain smoker for 41 years.

I smoke a lot

100g tobacco a week

Luckily some family go on trips and get me duty free

Pay about ÂŁ13 a pouch instead of ÂŁ45

Sometimes even cheaper

Ive chainsmoked a bit … cigs and weed. Smoked a lot in my life. Regret it, but at the time it was living in the moment without a f to give.

I started smoking cigarettes when I was 12. Im still addicted to nicotine now but i mainly just chew nicotine chewing gum or use nicotine mouth spray. Im sick of smoking and vaping. Ill for sure get some major illness from it if I kept smoking or vaping. Im 32 now. I still get a rollie tobacco pouch once every now and then. But the majority of my days I just use the gum. So much healthier by far.
