Anyone here quit smoking that didn’t take Wellbutrin and also was taking antipsychotics at the time??

I quit smoking over 2 years ago by vaping it was hard at first now I can’t stand the smell of real smokes

I quit cigs 3 years ago and then vaping 2 years ago. I was on APs and used nicotine gum to quit. My pulmonary function tests have improved and I no longer cough up brown globs. It was hard at first but I no longer have any cravings.

Me I quit smoking. A few years ago around COVID. I broke my lighter every time I smoked so I couldn’t light em and whenever I got the inspiration I threw my pack in the sink and put water on it.

@Rainstorm I’m still using nicotine chewing gum. Ive quitting nicotine once for about a year ages ago. Really want to quit fully again so bad.

Yea pretty much. I mean for the last 5 years I basically smoked zero but recently like the last two months I have a cigarello maybe on average once a month or something but that’s purely for enjoyment. Not addicted in the slightest.

I stopped smoking in hospital while waiting for hip surgery. Everyone in room where smokers like me but no one smoked.

I was waiting for operation a month there and only symptom i had is sleeping a lot.

Didn’t smoked for six months. Don’t know why I started again.

Good its been 97 hours cold turkey.. I went 3 weeks earlier like a month ago. Im doing good my clozapine is working better

Yep, me! Back in 2021. I was on 5mg Zyprexa and no aids to quit smoking. I also didn’t substitute it for other nicotine like vaping or gum. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my entire life and took me around 20 tries.

I’ve been smoke free since July of that year
