Been eating frozen burritos for two weeks

we get eight burritos for around five dollars at walmart and it’s all we could afford this month to get by…mom might take us to lunch tomorrow and I am praying she does…it would be so nice to eat some real food…depressed.

Didn’t you say your wife has a pending disability case? Wishing for the best on that. I’ve eaten those burritos too I know what it’s like, it’s a but mushy but at least it’s not ramen.

I was going to buy a pound of very lean (93/7) ground beef to make homemade chili in the crockpot…$10.49! One little tube of hamburger! I ended up with a fatter tube, 80/20 for $7.49. Also, gas was $4.40 a gallon. It’s getting ridiculous here…

Buy hamburger when it’s on sale and freeze it for later use. You’ll save money. Or ground turkey is good for chili and is sometimes cheaper than ground beef.

Yeah, a pound can cost $10 here too and I don’t know how or why it got so expensive. It goes on sale for as little as $3.99 a pound sometimes.

Here in California we have the highest average gas cost in the nation.
