I spend most of my time listening to music
I think I listen to music pretty much every day.
I have my Echo Dot playing my favorite artists whenever I’m home which is a lot. I even play Taylor Swift, lol. She’s good, mellow background music to have on while I’m surfing the web.
I couldn’t vote yes or no on this.
I was a musician 20 years ago. I studied at the royal northern college of music.
I taught music afterwards in Los Angeles.
After loosing my career due to mental health I’ve never got back to teaching or performing.
However I can now listen to music and enjoy it. Just not perform or teach anymore.
This poll makes me happy
I like music, it is good stuff
Heck yes! And not just music from when I was young… i regularly peruse apple music’s “new in alternative” section for brand new bands and tracks.
Listening to music and going to concerts and music festivals is kinda my thing. I typically attend around 10-12 concerts and one or two festivals every year.
Four of my 17 tattoos relate to this. Even when it seems like I can’t get pleasure from anything, music is the exception.
I made this thread on the suspicion that sz might take away the joy of music but I’m glad I was wrong
I love music and listen to it most of the time. Sz has never taken that away from me.
I listen to music all day and all night…it’s all I do…I don’t watch television or videos…
Same here, except I watch videos on YouTube, have YouTube Premium. Usually it’s one of my playlists: “metal mix” (metal music videos), “miscellaneous” (non-metal music videos), or “concert videos.” My concert videos playlist has at this point around (I think) 280 videos I’ve taken at concerts and festivals and uploaded to YouTube. But yeah even when I have YouTube on, it’s for music.
I used to listen to a lot of music, classic, Jazz, pop songs and easy listenings. But now I seemed losing sensibility to them. I guess it’s due to aging, not Sz.
I hear voices in it. Guess it’s just me. I do like it though but don’t listen to it much. I look forward to listening to it again someday if I can get rid of the voices in it.
Maybe I do enjoy it, I’m always having songs in my head.
Also think it’s a message for me 90% of the time even though it was written like 50 years ago.
im the only one who said no. it depends, because it can get overwhelming
I enjoy music all day.
It helps with voices.
There are some musics that trigger me too and I feel like it’s talking about me and criticizing me
I avoid these songs or listen to them only when I’m in a good mood
Yeah me too. I prefer instrumental for that reason. I like classical.
I love to listen to jazz but at some time I was alternating between classical music and jazz on TV
I appreciate having lyrics written when I listen to songs with lyrics because I love to sing, sometimes I have difficulties understanding if people talk too fast and it’s good to see that it’s hallucinations and not the singer being mean
