- The music industry is the devil
- Music industry is a necessary evil
- Music industry is good
I just can’t believe that I can’t buy mp3s anymore. Everything is streaming. On the one hand, it offers some ease, but in other respects, I think it really is detrimental to my ability to collect music.
Music is good, if it sounds good then it is good, I am an audiophile and I stream the best quality music through a pro amp and it sounds great
I use Tidal which is a bit better to the artists than say Spotify.
I also volunteered on a community radio station and I loved playing free music on that, it had a License and was a registered charity so the License pays for the right to broadcast Music over FM/Streaming, I’m guessing part of that cost goes to artists.
I practically live for concerts and music festivals. I use Apple Music and YouTube Premium for my streaming, but I also love vinyl.
I started buying vinyl five years ago, have over 40 albums at this point, I think. Streaming doesn’t get the artists much income, but I buy vinyl, concert tickets and merch for the artists I like most and want to help support. Most of the bands I listen to are just regular middle-class people with mortgages and car payments. I don’t listen to many millionaire bands.
I have Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube music. I alternate between the three to get what I need. I listen to music almost all day everyday
I just don’t like mainstream stuff. I hate the fact that the music industry is trying to steer what we are listening to.
Years ago, I bought my daughter a vinyl player. It had a MP3 attachment to it where she could record it on our MP3 player and listen to it later.
That’s pretty cool ![]()
The way they treated cher Lloyd from the X factor shows they do corrupt stuff
They tell them what to do what to sing and everything
I like music tho
I don’t like the music industry also I don’t understand why CDs from certain Musicians aren’t available for purchase I am old school that way I like psychical copies of CDS not digital like nowadays that’s what is offered I don’t like that.
musicians and selling music is good because thats how artists make money, but unfortunately people who care nothing baout music own most of the music and give artists nothing which ruins it for everyone.
I wish I was as smart as people who can make music. They’re geniuses usually.
You’re right, making music is really hard
I cannot get my head around this. At all.
I have a stereo at home that obviates the need to expose myself to others.
Going to concerts is immersive. The sound is better live. Meeting people is good. Being in a crowd is enlivening. Dancing your ass off is the sh it.
My dad won’t let me go to London to see this concert that I want to go to. He doesn’t think it’s safe so he won’t fund it. I’m really bummed out. The venue looks sick and the lineup is so good. It’s like my favorite people of all time
Yes. I drowned once in my life. It was enough.
Stop being a poop! Ba humbug
The entire event is triggering. Why would I purposefully make myself ill and put myself in relapse territory?
Okay, I guess I can see your point. I wish that you could Branch out a little bit and enjoy life the way that I do I guess
