I pay $11.99 a month for Apple Music and $10.99 for Amazon Music.

At one point I had Last FM,Amazon music, and Spotify. Now I just have basic Spotify, which I hardly ever use.I mainly use Alexa for music.

I pay for YouTube music, SoundCloud and Spotify. I need them all to be honest

I pay for Pandora and Youtube premium – can’t do the commercials lol

Yeah I use YouTube music to find hard to find stuff. Artists really have different things on yt music and Spotify. And I use SoundCloud to upload my tracks and I find a lot of good mixes on there.

I like Spotify for making you aware of new releases

What kind of music do you listen to and make man?

I listen to lots of electronic stuff. Dnb, house, edm, pop. Indie, alt, film scores.

I make all the above.

That’s cool I haven’t ventured into dnb yet but I want to! I’m more situated in techno/house but I’m still just learning

Yeah apple music. I used to buy every song I wanted, but now that I have a sub I sometimes add 10 more new songs in a day. I have such a big collection since subscribing that buying all of them songs would cost like 300 bucks lol.

no but my mom does she pays for Sirious radio for her vehicle it’s not very much like 6.99 a month maybe more they have specials sometimes.

I sign up for free trials when they are around. I have a decent amount of physical music and a lot of digital files so I don’t use streaming enough. I’d go with youtube or spotify if I was going to pay.

I have Apple Music. I’ve had it for the past 10 years so I have thousands of songs saved

What do you use to organize your digital files?

I have a bunch of flac files in folders on a hard dirve. I had a file server going last year but it stopped working and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. you can use jellyfin or plex to set the server up and they both have apps for phones. UI is is decent on both. Works great on home wifi, but you need to change some settings to get it working on cell data.

Edit: Forgot that you have to pay for plex now, jellyfin is free.

Oh that’s really cool man

I’m about to rip all my likes from YouTube to bring to USB for my deck. It’s going to take forever but it will organize my thinking and help me recognize track titles I think
