I understand that this is a subjective type of answer that I should be expecting.
I am asking because I really do not care if I see a pretty woman unless she is nice…
so do looks alone mean anything to you?
wen i see a handsome man it makes me feel some kind of positive appreciation but when i see a pretty woman, usually not so much it is more a feeling of indifference…unless the looks is matched with a nice personality…
I think looks matter, but it’s important to recognize that everyone is actually beautiful. You get something different from everyone. Understanding your preferences is important though. When you recognize that your preferences predicate your responses, you may free up the way you see individuals as subjects. Does that make sense?
And when I was 7 years old I went over to this girl’s house for a playdate who had a crush on. She was there with two other girls that I that were in our class and they all laughed at me. I had basically been invited over for their amusement. It was really cruel
And then I told my mother just because they’re pretty doesn’t mean they’re nice.
Sorry, it’s because I studied some philosophy in college. Just became part of my normal speech.
I’ll say it a different way
When you see people’s appearances as reflections in your mind of your own preferences. Then I think you start to realize that our diversity is more important.
I think one of your problems is that you’re always comparing yourself to other women. Men don’t necessarily think that way and if they do, they’re ignorant. You shouldn’t care what people think if they’re like that. Hierarchy may exist naturally, but it’s so much more complex than just our physical appearance.
i have this problem or weakness where i cant say negative things about peoples problems to their faces so i feel i shud not say it to others too idk i am messed up…i just worry that i will end up killed it really suks my life is a mess
i guess if i say it in a kind way then it should be ok, but then where is the balance between prodding on someones weakness and letting them have that space to grow?
Personally-speaking, I would answer that there are times where growth has to come from within. Sometimes all we can do as bystanders is support and care for another individual on their journeys as we walk our own as well. Maybe in doing so, we blossom also.
(I know you said this question was rhetorical but I hope you don’t mind I answered, lol. I was already typing my answer out. I also understand where you’re coming from in regards to being fearful of getting hurt or killed. I don’t have much advice in that respect as I struggle with it myself and it’s scary for me to talk about, but you are not alone.)
