Do you drink protein shakes?

I make my own at home. Sometimes instead of eating dinner I drink a shake. My 2 fav are mango and coffee. I mix protein milk with vanilla protein powder and frozen mangoes in the blender, sometimes with one banana.

The other one I mix protein milk with protein powder, splenda, sometimes one banana, ice and instant coffee.

I used to make a matcha protein shake but not anymore.

On occasion, we’ll have homemade shakes/smoothies

Milk, Greek yogurt, honey, frozen bananas, and peanut butter powder. My fav combo lol

Oh yeah I forgot to say sometimes I add greek yoghurt too.

Also, the frozen fruit of your choice is a great substitute for ice. Makes the drink much more fulfilling

I’ll have to try the coffee one. About how much instant coffee do you put in?

A tablespoon in the whole pot.

Gotcha. I’m about to go make one lol

Milk, greek yogurt, instant coffee, and I suppose ice? Not sure frozen bananas would go well with the coffee flavor

I have vegan strawberry protein powder with Oatmilk.

You need splenda if you like it sweet. I like it very sweet so I put like 6 splenda packets.

If you do not have splenda you can just put more protein powder if its not unflavored.

I do a shake with ultra-filtered skim milk, frozen blueberries, frozen bananas, and Spirutein blueberries and cream protein powder. Sometimes I’ll add chia seeds or flax meal. Very tasty!

My mom was drinking shakes but the kidney doctor said it’s concentrated protein and puts a lot of stress on the kidneys vs spacing out protein

I have about 3 protein shakes a week. I make it with frozen blueberries, frozen banana slices, frozen cherries, unsweetened coconut milk and allergy friendly protein powder

I have a weird digestive track so my GI doctor prescribes two small protein shakes for snacks a day. I don’t absorb or digest food very well anymore so I have to intake more nutrients.

Yes, for breakfast and usually with a banana. I like Premier Protein shakes in vanilla. I have a mini fridge in my room, and I stash them there.

I love the premier protein shakes that are premade, but they are so expensive. I normally buy the premier protein powder and make that with either water or milk. I just got some bananas today and I peeled them and froze them hoping to use in a protein shake in the future.

Never thought of freezing them, do they become dark? I will try to freeze them next time.

You have to peal them when they are perfectly ripe then freeze them, If you freeze them with the skin on it doesn’t work very well and they do get dark
