Do your problems seem insurmountable?

Do your problems seem too much to handle? I feel the issue with my mind and body is something I don’t know how to deal with. I think no one goes through what I do. I feel harassed and berated by others and that some outside force is effecting my thoughts and appearance.

Some of them do. When people cause problems for me and have it in for me I get mad and try to fight it but it often seems hopeless.

My symptoms aren’t, but I have limits. Things have and I believe can get better. I’ve been in remission for a while.

I empathize with you that it feels like others are effecting your mind and body. I have the same thing. The only way to manage it is to say to yourself that it isn’t true. The way schizophrenia works is to change the way you experience the world compared to others. You can hear voices which aren’t there for other people. Also you can feel sensations which aren’t happening physically. It all goes on inside of you. The thing is that it isn’t real because if you are schizophrenic you live in a fantasy that doesn’t happen in reality. If you suffer a delusion, rather than thinking into it, let it pass and examine the real world outside of your inner experience. Think about where you are standing or sitting and even how others regard your experience, the normal perspective is … I really hope this helps

yes, very much so I feel hopeless helpless frustrated and annoyed and angry about the way I look I don’t like the way I look as far as my body it needs some work my face is alright, I guess who knows what others think of me when they see me and I can’t change their opinion of me either their going to think what they want to think anyways about me my problems seem like their piling up and I am in over my head in what to do to overcome these obstacles in my life health wise. Nothing much I can do to lose weight just keep doing what I have been doing going to the gym and try my best to cut back but that’s not working out to well in my favor so far. Ever felt every bad emotion well I have them all right now every negative emotion you can think of I have. Once I get in to have my Iv Iron Infusions that’s one problem solved at least for the weight part anyway, I will mention this to my dr when I see her In July shell probably just shrug and brush it off like nothing like she always does.

Not alone …

My delusions are a little different but I go through this too.

Sometimes..like you said it feels impossible but I try to do my best…that’s all we can do. In the words of Bert and Russel " I too suffer"

Yes I can’t find anything to fix my anxiety. The dozens of meds I’ve tried don’t work. No one prescribes benzodiazepines anymore either where Valium cuts my anxiety in half.

Yes. It’s difficult to live forever. Not sure I’m going to succeed at that one.

I don’t know. My life is pretty good.

My expenses are covered by my father

My job is pretty chill

I seem to be able to get dates

I don’t know how to get rid of the voices but I hope I eventually get help with that

I’ve been under the impression I can’t stop antipsychotics since 2022. But doctors haven’t officially diagnosed the cause of my psychotic breaks as schizophrenia. Whether I get off antipsychotics, I don’t know.

but i know with low dose aripirazole and weight reduction meds; I should (with much hope) be able to return to work which was or has, been the most insurmountable problem i’ve had since developing psychosis

I just have problems telling what’s real sometimes. I don’t see it going away. I can’t predict it, it just happens.

Even if you don’t have schizophrenia or you’re not sure about what you have, don’t hesitate to talk about your issues

I will always be there to listen to you if you need to

I don’t have a diagnosis myself (for my psychosis, apart that my doctor said I have generalised anxiety disorder and I have a phobia of wind)
