Do you hear voices? If so do they have a personality?
Yes they sound like men in their 30s. Particularly how a rapper would sound. And one lady with a creole or Cajun accent.
I don’t hear them anymore.
Hey @anon36616321 I’m really glad you came back on the site. I was sad to see you go
Thanks! I’m glad to see you.
Yes.
Isidore and Louisa are at their late 30s,
early 40s.
A decade ago, when they started, they seemed older than me. Now they feel of same age.
My main one does. Sometimes I get two conversing with each other in my head.
I have like 5 or 6 talking to each other about me
I remember the voices pretended to be all kinds of famous people when I had my first psychosis. I remember listening to them on youtube and being shocked when the tone was the same as in my head. I know it wasnt really famous people BTW but just an experience I had.
People in the background, well known people, and people that I know, but their first name.
I don’t have voices now but when I did I heard someone I knows voice insulting me.
Yes. Leroy. He likes to talk about his expertise in tires. Go tend to your tires.
I think I talk to God but it’s a woman.
My voice is kind and female. Makes me laugh sometimes which can be awkward in public so I have to be careful about that.
Much better than the cacophony of multiple voices I heard before I got on Zyprexa. That was a long time ago. It’s been just the one nice voice ever since I’ve been on the meds I’m currently on, which has been about 4 years now.
The main problem I have with the disease is residual akathisia that makes focusing difficult. The voice is something I can tune out or ignore since there’s no more commands or insults.
