Does anyone here take more than one antipsychotic?

And also what was the more effective antipsychotic for you in particular?

I’m on 2. I tried almost every pill imaginable individually and I couldn’t function. Then we tried Zyprexa 20mg. It was helpful, but not quite enough. So we tried adding 1 mg of risperidone and that got me able to leave my home and work part time! I’m so glad I tried 2 at once. It’s been a game changer for me

I’m on 2. Caplyta and Haldol. It’s working better than just 1 at a time. I’ve tried so many.

I take rexulti and SEROQUEL. But Haldol worked well in the past but I have TD pretty bad and they were afraid of making the TD worse so the doc took me off it.

I did well on ZYPREXA and Latuda for like 15 years.

Seroquel is one of the antipsychotics with least extra pyramidial side effect chances.; ie., movement disorders

Good to hear. Maybe that’s why they chose it. I also take austedo for the TD. And cogentin for the shaking.
