I’ve tried about 8 or 9 different APs. None work.
I’m stuck inside my torturous little head.

I’m in the same boat voices everyday
Damn sorry to hear that man… must be hard ![]()
Have you tried cobenfy?
Yes. I had a lot of trouble with the fasting.
Have you tried Clozapine? Its used often for people who dont get relief from other AP’s.
If medication alone isnt helping enough, therapy could be very beneficial for you.
Eating healthy and exercising will help your mental health too.
If you’re currently on clozapine, request that they check the plasma levels of it. This isn’t checked with the normal blood tests.
I wouldn’t advise using clozapine but..
Honestly, I was going to say something but the way I feel about it is that if you’re that med resistant then you’re probably going to have to figure out how to develop coping mechanisms.
Can you describe to me what is making your life so difficult? What are your symptoms? There may be ways of approaching them behaviorally to alleviate your suffering to some extent
That sucks man. I’ve been lucky that I found a few APs that worked for me. I can relate when it comes to ADs though. I’ve tried a bunch and none of them work well enough without crap side effects. Keep trying to find something that works. Maybe try a 1st gen if 2nd gens aren’t working.
I tried more than 10 before finding a combo that helps me leave the house. Don’t give up!
If you haven’t tried the two strongest antipsychotic ask for Amisulpride or Clozapine because those are considered the strongest meds for hard to treat psychosis. If you live in the states you can buy Amisulpride from Canada.
@Relaxe im not a good candidate for clozapine and I can’t afford to pay for meds from Canada. I looked into it and you have to have it prescribed by a Canadian physician. It’s $300 to see a Canadian physician when you’re from the US. So that’s a no go.
That said, I’m on 20 mg of olanzapine, 1 mg of risperidone and 20 mg of Celexa. This combo helps me calm down enough to have a part time job thankfully.
Amisulpride and clozapine have made me better
Life wise home working reduces stress
I have tried more than 10 antipsychotics.
Currently on Clozapine, Thorazine and Haldol.
Better than ever but still struggling.
Maybe write your daily goals and write a lost on how you can achieve them.
I mean write a list.
I’m on olanzapine and Vraylar. My brain feels cracked, I hear voices and I get paranoid about people.
But I’ve improved tremendously since I became ill. Less negs, no delusions etc. It’s just the darn voices and paranoia messing with me.
Hey @TheCanuk sorry I didn’t reply. I am on 450mg of Clozapine with no luck. My Dr. says if I increase there’s a chance it will work.
