Dr thinks i have adhd and bipolar

Not sure if i actually have schizoaffective. My racing thoughts are out of control despite my anxiety and depression and psychosis being under control nearly completely. Shes putting me on a trial adhd med. Its a non stimulant one. I forget which one though. I always suspected i had adhd.

Racing thoughts are the worst. I’m lucky, I stopped getting them ten years ago for the most part.

I’m glad your anxiety and the other things are under control.

It feels like i have multiple trains of thoughts going on at once and at least one of them is a song ive heard recently lol. It stresses me out. Sometimes it gives me a lot of anxiety and i throw up

@moon When you were diagnosed with ADHD, is your psychiatrist a woman?

Okay, just read my screenshot from Microsoft Co-Pilot. I personally believe ADHD is a gender-biased diagnosis. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid. I think its bullshiet.

Stop with the sexist posts. @yinyang patients aren’t treated unfairly if the doctor is a woman.

I don’t think @yinyang is sexist. He’s saying that there is a gender bias among doctors. He never said that this is the situation in this case:

[Yes, medical studies show significant differences in how patients are diagnosed based on both the patient’s gender and the doctor’s gender. A patient’s likelihood of receiving an accurate, timely diagnosis shifts depending on the gender makeup of the medical interaction. Overall, female patients face the highest rates of delayed or missed diagnoses, particularly when they are treated by male doctors]–AI Gemini

What’s wrong with my question?

Why would you ask that?

Why cannot I ask that question? It’s perfectly legitimate.

You then posted the screenshot about gender bias. Those were unrelated questions?

The screenshot has information which is related to my question. I asked @moon to review it.

You didnt answer her question. Why would you ask if the doctor was a woman? You have a long history dating back to the old forum of being a woman hater/being very sexist. I sense you think poorly of women doctors.

What’s the purpose of this question? What are you implying?

For a fact, the majority of psychology majors & degrees are women.

The majority of women diagnosing boys and young men with ADHD is obvious as stated in my screen shot.
