Feeling craycray

Hey Guys and Gals. Hope you’re doing okay. Im not doing that great. Feeling anxious as all hell lately. And angry sometimes. Its an odd feeling being simultaneously angry and fearful. Usually only have one or the other at any given moment. Think I need to change up my meds a bit. I dunno.

Anyways I have a doctors appointment over the phone soon. Hopefully something good comes of it. Dreading the phone call though. Hate talking on the phone when I feel nuts. :grimacing:

Well I think my mental health has been getting a little worse as of late. Nothing in my life has happened recently to induce fear in me. Its almost purely social though. All my worries are around social situations with other people and getting out and about. Im realllllly out of practice with socialising. Spend a lot of time just in my head thinking and reflecting on everything. Too much time! I also think my brain is addicted to quetiapine. I was prescribed it as a prn. Only one box of 30 pills though. No repeats. I take one 25mg tablet every other night along with my daily usual meds. But its getting really hard to go without it. A little worried about when I run out of them soon.

But all that said, I am going a little better today. Had a massive sleep which seemed to have helped a lot.

Sorry if my reply to your comment is super long and too much haha. Hope you’ve been going well lately @Zoe

Yeh sleep is good.

Oh ok maybe your body just needs both aps daily? Some ppl take 2 per day. 25mg sounds like a low dose for seroquel/quatepine if im not mistaken so thats good.

Or it may just need ur first ap and perhaps u wanna taper off seroquel very slowly if u feel u will keep needing more n more n more.

Obviously!, idk.

Could check with a good psych doc.

But its great u feel a little better.

I hav so much anxiety myself. The way i want to cope with it is by keeping a balanced life getting busy with a job and trying to find positive things about me.

Sleep IS good!

Well theres two different types of quetiapine in case you didnt know. Im taking the quick acting one. Low doses of that can be pretty heavy. Whereas I think those who are on quetiapine long term as thier main antipsychotic med, they usually would take the extended release version where much higher doses can be tolerated easier. Im not sure though so dont quote me on it!

They sound like good ways of dealing with anxiety for sure. I also want to do those things. Plus I also want to have a more religious/spiritual direction for my life too.

Thanks for the good replies @Zoe :slightly_smiling_face:
