Fighting at home...wife may leave me

it’s my fault…I disobeyed her and did something I needed, a vice..I won’t say what…I broke my promise to her and she may leave me…very, very upset right now…as a matter of fact, I’m crying right now…don’t want to leave her…threw away my vice but it might be too late…she’s not speaking to me right now.

Sorry that happened @jukebox. A vice is a vice and always is, so don’t be hard on yourself. I’m sure she’ll come around.

Vices are hard to quit. Hang in there

Relax and do some breathing exercises. You have a good heart, you didn’t want to do this. Maybe let her know how much it hurts you.

I hope things smooth over. Maybe just give her some space to calm down then :parrot: talk

We are not here for judgement. Hopefully she will forgive you. Maybe slip a note under her door asking forgiveness? You can only try to do better next time.

I’m sorry jukebox. Love can do crazy things sometimes. I know you love her. So don’t give up. I’ve been with dude for 17 years. Hugs

Hopefully if you stay away from your vice she’ll see that and she’ll not leave. Actions speak louder than words so show her by your actions that you mean it

thanks…yes I aim to keep my promise now that I’ve let her down…perhaps she won’t leave if I can really , really give up the vice.

so your wife wants a divorce because you smoked a few cigarettes?

I am going to be honest jukebox this whole thing is very abusive for you. I feel bad for you, you don’t deserve this dynamic

thanks guys…it was the way I used the vice…I hurt her feelings really bad…she is just hurt…waiting for her to get up this morning….a new day, a new chance to make it up to her.

Thats all we can do @jukebox , to begin again each day. Vices are like sickness, and they need treatment and care to overcome. Ive struggled with some terrible vices, but I only managed them (I wont say cured of them) with support and a lot of dedication. Cant do it alone.

Better to recognise the vice, apologise to anyone its hurt, and strive to TRY to not do it again.
