Gonna get myself connected

Just thought of that song.

I have felt so disconnected.

Isolated, excluded , bully vibed, disrespected and other stuff .

Dont have friends.

The ones who said to be my parents never ask how i am and no contact or email in 6 mnths or so.

Never felt loved by them n stuff happened wont write about.

I hardly ever felt like myself.

Like Shaggy sings wasnt me.

Want to reclaim myself and all i am and feel like myself.

I dont have support network kinda.

All cultures n religions were bully vibing me.

No o e wanted to love who i am but take it n be it n barely ever felt safe space to feel like myself and be.

Im single .

Outsider of family n no contact except a couple of them very rarely.

All this other stuff too.

Trying to exercise but feel they dont want me at gym or most disrespect me there .

Years ago they said im not allowed to exercise.

No one protected me.

Defended me n let me be me n feel like me.

Psychiatrist i cant afford n one place reached out to said to look elsewhere.

I tried volunteer working but felt disrespected.

Main thing is to connect with oneself.

Reconnect with oneself and practice self love and compassion and reclaim self and call energy etc back to body and self.

Tried a mental health house where they serve lunch but felt disrespected and ignored by all or almost all of them so havent been gping.

I try guided youtube mefitation and prayers and exercise.

Any advice on what else might help?

Yeah it’s hard out there. I call it all “finding your tribe.” I once went to a punk bar and nearly everyone there were either undiagnosed with some type of mental illness or were just some of the biggest ass holes I’ve ever met in my life. I have a small tribe and I keep it that way. Once you find your tribe hold onto it.

Maybe you could try to join a club, art club or sport club, bookclub, depending what you like

Have you heard of Clubhouse International? It’s free. I went to a clubhouse for a while. The people were kind. The staff was helpful. It’s a place you can go to Monday through Friday if you want. They have social events and outings together. They’re non judgmental. If you’re interested I’ll post a link to the locations so you can see if one is near you. Many (but not all) even offer free transportation

Long time no seeing you @Sacredneigh7 !

I think it’s brave from you to open up, even here (I know it’s easier on forum, but still).

I feel you’re good hearted and you’re trying.

Just keep trying. I’m sure you will find irl people that appreciate you, and you can trust.

Thank you @Lilyofthevalley .

In Australia i was rejected NDIS which ables one to a support network and outings , careworkers , social support etc and ive been isolated etc.

Cant afford a psychiatrist only see a gp.

Very good gp but psychiatrist helps if applying for ndis.

There is a place a can visit a couple times a week but im not allowed to attend outings and activitirs because i dont have ndis.

Also sitting at this house i felt excluded and disconnected and ignored and disrespected and excluded.
