The French work organism is helping me to find a concrete job plan
I hesitate between glasses seller and baker -pastry chef
The French work organism told me to do on-the-job immersion to know if I really appreciate a job before training me
Today a bakery accepted for me to do on-the-job immersion in their bakery
They filled a paper I need to send to the French work organism to have a convention
I will work 13rd and 14th July from 6:30 am to 12 :30 pm
I will look at the pastries baking and at the selling as they don’t want me to be there in the middle of the night but I’m still glad I got this opportunity
I’m looking forward to the glasses shop answers I asked to to know if I can do a on-the-job immersion in a glasses shop too
Good luck! Working in a bakery is great. I did it many years ago. I was alone and filling in for the regular baker as she was battling cancer. She came back eventually and I had to switch jobs because they only need one baker, but I loved it. During that she, she did the decorating since I’m not good at it. So I baked, prepped, and sold items.
id say do which one appeals to you more, but if i had to choose solely on which was a better career move id go with the optometrist. Gonna look so good on your resume and also theres room for advancement. Its possibele you could get paid to take courses to become an eye surgery nurse/assistant or some kind of technician etc.
No degree or certificate for baking at all @Vaiana . The baker left me step by step instructions. It was an emergency type situation and she didn’t have time to look for someone.
