Got an idea that I'm taking to my local library

I run errands on the side like waiting in line for people or picking up their order at the store. I want to start my own business locally and that is returning people’s library books to the branch so they only have to make one trip. I’m sure the risk is the library will take my idea and offer it for free but they will still have to get funding so I’m not too worried, someone would have to make time and money. Time and money that I have. I guess what’s your take on this? Do people still read library books that much. Would you pay $25 to only make one trip if the late fee was only $10? Here in my city we do not have this service.

Of course one of my delusions is that people are constantly stealing my ideas. I’m not sure how true that is but if they stole my idea would they really be able to keep afloat of how to maintain that idea.

What’s to stop someone on the forum from taking this idea?

Idk I don’t want to get rich off of it. I think I’m just paranoid. I just want to do it in my own city. When I had my old business, there was this lady who seemed like she was always posting the same things that I posted. It drove me crazy. I think it was just the stress of running the business and what was going on in my community at the time. Maybe I just need some sleep.

Any way. I shut down my business with 15 clients.

I understand that paranoia. I have a business idea that I’m really interested in getting going, but I won’t mention it for fear it’ll be taken. I even have a name for it (which I also won’t share).
