So I’ve had three businesses already. One was delusional, it was a spiritual business in a store. One was crafty, it was a crocheted scrunchies and friendship bracelets. That one was in the same store: painted tree. and my first ever was my digital marketing business. That lasted about 10 years with no real money coming in maybe 10,000 over the 10 years. I had an idea about 8 years ago to start writing grants for nonprofits to win them funding for their organization and just found the book again today. I’m thinking I’m gonna ask my mom if can proofread one of her winning grants or just a draft of the grant to get the gist of the structure. I went to school for journalism but never was good at persuasive writing. I used to write for my highschool newspaper for four years beginning when I was 15 so I think I could write really well. Just worried about the accurate research because I second guess my sources. But I figured, I already have the connections and it’s a need and it wouldn’t be hard to get into. Not sure how lucrative it would be though. It’s not like I can take half of the grant money unless they write it into the grant. Kind of like when lawyers take a part of your disability settlement once they win the case.

I would love to start a profitable business. I had an internet sales business for awhile years ago, but there was just a dribble of income and it wasnt worth the time I spent on it. It was an LLC. Coming up with something that makes real money consistently is not easy.
Ok that’s cool! They always say your first idea is not what makes you money. I think it just comes with experience.

I think you just gotta charge enough to pay taxes and make a profit. I was not.
