Guys… I need to eat healthier

Today I ate fast food again and I feel like complete crap. I could eat bananas and stuff but won’t feel full unless I have meat. Also I don’t cook and don’t want to try because I failed miserably last time I tried. What can I do?

Bro…start small. Make something really easy and perfect it then move up…

Cooking normal meals isn’t too hard if youre in the right headspace and plan it out

And yea… You have to know how to cook healthy meals too. Salmon is a great choice

First, study nutrition. You can buy yogurts and mix with chia seeds (chia seeds have a lot of fiber which makes you feel full). Drink a lot of water. Canned tuna in extra virgin olive oil is good.

The main thing is to study nutrition so that you’ll know what to eat and what not to eat.

Wise words from my dietitian she says aim to have one fat, one carb and one protein food group at every meal. Meat isn’t bad you just have to be careful what kind of meat you eat but even red meat can be healthy in moderation

First thing is understand how much protein you need per day. Thats the main thing you need. If you decide 60g is enough you need to get 20g for each meal. A cup of milk has 9g of protein. Technhcally you can have 2 cups of milk for one meal but that can be quite a bit of fat and sugar too.. but not too bad on fat especially if you drink skim, but it has cholesterol. Other quick protein are canned fish, beans and some nuts. Nuts and beans are incomplete protein and need to be paired with grains or potato.

You need fats. Milk, peanut butter, avacado, nuts etc. A small amount of fat a day is necessary. Omegas and pokyunsaturated etc is good.

Carbs are needed too. Whole grains are best. Refined sugars are worst. You need a small amount of carbs… more if active.

VEG. Bro find sime veg you like and eat it daily. I eat bell peppers like apples…

Water. If you can just drink cold water.

you could do meal preps just make a ton of healthy meals all at once then stash them in the freezer

Anyone can fry up a steak. Or buy boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them lengthwise to get two thin slices and fry it up.

Is that healthy though?

It’s protein, to make it healthier chop an onion or bell pepper or jalapeño or asparagus and fry it up for four minutes and serve over the steak or chicken,

Do you know how to grill? Do you have an air fryer? What do you have that you can cook with? I’m assuming your main issue is not knowing how to cook. There are simple ways to make food, it doesn’t have to rival a chef’s restaurant meal.

You could try a crockpot. Just throw stuff in a crockpot and turn on in the morning.

In a skillet you can buy pre cut fajita beef and veggies in the meat department sometimes. Just cook up quickly on a skillet. Wrap in tortillas that you zap for 10 seconds in the microwave

Grilled cheese sandwiches on the skillet

there are pre seasoned pork loins or turkey loins too that you can just bake in the oven

It’s not. But it helps you to start learning to cook. It’s an ok easy beginner meal. think of it as a stepping stone
