I heard air fryers were very good and easy but idk much about them, what to cook or if there’s anything I should know, I saw a nice one with 2 compartments.
@shutterbug uses one all the time I know.
They’re wonderful. Great way to get that deep fried crunch without the grease.
I have one. It cooks things much quicker than an oven. As I’m not much of a cook I don’t do anything fancy with it.
could I do veg and pastry in it? I would like a balanced me, can I just throw everything in there ?
My convection oven also works as an air fryer. We love it!
i have one lol its good but its a glorified hot plate lmao idk what i was expecting when i got one but its literally just an upsidedown hotplate with a fan haha
I love air frying chicken wings.
The only problem is that I don’t have a big enough air fryer for my wing loving appetite.
Did you add a rack?
Yes I have one 151515151515
Swear by them. Revolutionary.
I highly recommend one. I bought a Philips when it was on sale on Amazon.
I use it more than I use my regular oven.
My oven is now for storing pots and pans and trays haha
Take my son; he may want chicken dippers and potato slices. I can get those out to him, from the freezer to his plate, in 10mins. In the previous times, it’d take 10mins alone just to heat the oven/grill up… a ton of electricity, to heat up a whole conventional oven for somethings so small.
Yeah, I used to cook chicken thighs in my air fryer. Healthy and easy to cook.
I had an air fryer but I read they give off radiation. So I got rid of it. Probably should’ve kept it, I have a candle warmer that says it gives off light radiation. I know from working in nuclear medicine radiation is everywhere: terrestrial, sometimes I over react. Plus, I have no more room with my slow cooker and coffee maker.
I use my air fryer all the time.
I buy paper liners for it on Amazon and makes for an easy cleanup afterwards.
I had one for it, but I have no idea where it’s gone. I could get double the wings in it, but I think it might have gotten donated on accident.
I could order a replacement but I always forget until I go to cook wings.
It gives off thermal radiation, but so do your cooktop and your furnace and your kettle. Oh, and the sun. Good luck avoiding that.
The fan motor gives off a bit of EMF. Nothing to worry about. I’m pacer dependent and strong EMF disrupts my pacemaker. I’d notice the issue as I passed out. They do not give off any sort of ionizing radiation, the dangerous kind.
We bought one recently. Seems good
I’m still thinking about it, I am a terrible cook so if I could just throw a bunch of stuff in here and just heat it all at the same time then that would be cool.
