I feel all shaky after I eat. I have to lie down for a while after because I start to feel so sick and weak. I see my PCP soon, and I will bring it up with her, but I’m curious if anyone has experienced anything like this before? It’s been going on for a few months now. I know y’all aren’t doctors… just curious about what others have experienced. Okay, I’m going to rest for a little bit because dinner. I hardly ate anything, too.
I’m a diabetic and was told it has to do with my blood sugar rising too quickly. Eating more slowly and low carb helps me. The digestive track gets messed up after surgeries on it.
Do you see the doctor regularly? Sounds like you could use a blood test and an examination of your numbers if you haven’t in awhile. It’s important to do that once per 6 months once you’re past 30. I’m not a doctor but I know some people just don’t bother going in and you could miss something important if you do that.
I go in and out of pre diabetes and rely on the doctor to keep an eye on it for example.
Thanks, @sweetpotatopie and @Agent101g . Yes, I definitely see my doctor and get regular bloodwork. I have hypothyroidism, and since I’m losing weight, I have to have regular check-ins to adjust my dose. She always orders a rainbow at that time. I really hope I don’t have diabetes or pre-diabetes.
