Has anyone here ever?

Been under general anasthesia and woken up in delirium or hallucinations?

Or been put on codeine or watnot painkillers after surgery and it made u confused or hallucinations?

I was reading up about it today.

Sz ppl are like 10 to 40% more likely to experience this stuff.

After I broke my collarbone in High School, I was given Oxycodone for the pain. Had an allergic reaction to it. Shitty times.

Had psychotic reaction on halothane as a child (breathing anaesthetic). It’s like chloroform…. Couldn’t breathe..

When I was having hip surgery, they put me on propofolol (injection anaesthetic)… I just slept well.I though I’m going to see something, like angels or some deep dream, but nothing…

People have different experiences with anaesthetics.

I had general anesthesia for my back surgery. I woke up in a delirium and started flirting with the nurse

Ive had 5 surgeries (former pro athlete) while being sz and on meds. I couldn’t take painkillers while on caplyta for my neck surgery which sucked but I could for my knee surgeries. No extra hallucinating for me

I was put under general anesthesia on February 26th of this year for a little over an hour. Only symptom I had was food tasting strange for about a week and a half.

That could be a blessing in disguise. Those things are addictive.

I feel that my good antipsychotics put into a pleasant anesthesia where I really get relaxed and peacefull. Yes I enjoy my calmness.
