I used to absolutely love reading, but now it feels like a chore… I’m simply not interested in it anymore, and I believe my illness plays a role in that. Basically, I watch movies, listen to music, and go for walks… and beyond that, I honestly don’t know. I don’t really have any actual hobbies.
What about you? Do you have any hobbies that you stick with regularly?
Are you able to read books?.. @Om_Sadasiva@Qwerty I can’t really tolerate video games anymore either. It’s just hard to feel any interest in them. Things with visual content and without requiring too much concentration are the easiest for me. I think I’m going to say goodbye to books for good..
I used to read fervently this book which captured my imagination quite a bit. But stopped because I was studying for an exam. Now that the exam isnt happening anymore, I am free to read again. But its just hard to get back into the habit. I will get back to it after this holiday though. And after the holiday I will be taking steps to returning to playing the piano. First get it tuned, then get lessons. First bit im working on already.
I feel like if you keep thinking the illness is stopping you from doing stuff, you will never do it.
I do play pc games, listen to music and exercise. Trying to get back to reading. But I guess I have to admit it is a bit bland, but doing it anyway. What alternatives there are, just idling or sleeping, beats me. Wish I had more hobbies, but maybe thwre is a reason for the lack of interest and motivation.
I don’t do nothing i haven’t got idea how to stop thinking of this condition. I suffer. No friends. The only friend I have left me because she is convice I have demons
I love her to pieces @Zoe she is a pug and is 8 years old now. I had a nap this morning and she napped with me. When I woke she gave me so many cuddles and kisses.
