With all the things about Alien that I’ve written on here, how can I tell if it’s psychosis or not? Am I faking? Am I lying? Am I an actress? Am I psychotic? Am I delusional? I don’t feel any of these things. So what am I then? What is it? How do I tell if it’s real or not? It’s real to me. What’s so bizarre about it? How could it be a delusion? How can I tell that it is?

It would be incredible if your alien was real, communicating with you and the experts made up that you are schizophrenic. It would be ridiculous. Don’t worry in other words… it’s just the brain feeling unwell
Oh you know we can’t distinguish what is real and what’s not when we are psychotic but afterwards we can question the things we experienced while psychotic.
I guess you’re not objective enough about yourself or have the self-awareness or insight to see that having voices with names and all the other symptoms you have i.e. thinking you’re going to destroy people with your mind etc. means you are ill. You’ve made many, many posts lately about all your weird thoughts and symptoms and you still can’t see your ill, that the average person walking around doesn’t have stuff like that going on in their mind? I mean people are weird but they don’t have the stuff you describe going on. You’ve been on this site for many years posting about all this mental health stuff and you still can’t figure out that you’re ill? I don’t know what else to tell you.

Psychosis seems a subjective thing to me. I mean, the drs might say I’m psychotic or (their favourite) that I have “bizarre delusions” but all this doesn’t change the fact that to me it’s not weird it’s real. At least the drs say I’m not faking but I can’t help feeling like an actress on a TV show or the stage of life. Now I need to know - where are the cameras? I can’t see any … Anyway, I’m sorry if I frustrated some of you! I’m just trying to make sense of something confusing. I’ve never really understood psychosis no matter how much I read on it . Don’t know why…
Do you hear him? Probably psychosis if you do. Don’t know much about delusions, the correct disorder.
I don’t hear him like an external voice. More like an internal telepathic one.
Probably the same thing.
