I just had an appointement with my psychiatrist

I said to my psychiatrist I was a bit disappointed she didn’t say much to my doctor for disability

She told me to not worry, that what she said is enough for disability

I appreciated today session, she talked more

Usually she only listens to me

She told me to not listen to my bro, that medication doesn’t make someone sick it’s the opposite it helps people

She reassured me about the fact I received a mail of myself with my bank informations

Last time I was angry against her because I was disappointed she only wrote about my hallucinations to my doctor even though I have other things too but I think today I forgive her

I’m in a similar situation, my negative symptoms aren’t documented by my psychiatrrist therefore I’m labelled as psychosis of unknown cause. When it comes to the disability benefit. I get the lower amount because of this problem

The negatives or the benefit? I’ve mentioned the negatives, but not the benefit. I feel like it’s selfish of me to seek more help financially

It’s not selfish

You need this money to live, and it would be nice to have more money for your hobbies or else

Maybe you could try to talk about that with her if you feel the need
