What should I do?

It’s almost tomorrow

Tomorrow I have work but I don’t want to go

ChatGPT told me to go see my doctor again

But I feel ashamed She already gave me a sick leave of 2 weeks I don’t want to bother her

So I thought about going to see another doctor (that knows me)

But in all case I can’t stay on sick leave all my life

Maybe I should contact my recruiter and say I would like my contract to be cancelled (I didn’t finish the trial in all case) and just ignore family pressure over the job

I don’t know what to do

I keep stressing about that and crying

Maybe seeing another doctor is a good idea. But my concern though, is that may put off the inevitable but not solve the intrinsic problem which is that you don’t want to work at this place.

I don’t know what to do though because you seem to have a lot of concerns about your family’s perspective on the subject.

It’s mostly that I keep having remarks because I didn’t go at work

And they pressure me to not stop this job

So I’m probably sure they will bother me if I stop

While there’s my sister that said she knew it wasn’t a good idea for me to do this job (even though she never said anything to me when I asked if I should do this job when I hesitated to do the interview)

Yeah I wish I had better advice to give.

If you can’t cope anymore you will need to request disability income forms from your dr. I don’t know what the economy and market is where you are but it’s sometimes impossible to live on govt assistance here. Once you get approved for disability your family attitude may change.

I ask to my doctor or psychiatrist ?

It’s possible to ask even if I don’t have a diagnosis yet ?

Talk to your psychiatrist. Explain your difficulty coping at work. The severity of your symptoms. Your problems at home. Some doctors don’t like to sign disability papers, others will readily. Once that happens the govt makes a decision.

I talked to her about my issues at this job (even though I didn’t say all details) and she asked dryly why I have two jobs (I was already working during lunch time And started to work the morning and afternoon too with this new job)

She said to me you don’t give a sick leave for nothing when I talked to her about a sick leave

So I don’t know if she would accept but I can still try

I see her in March

While waiting for our appointement I should leave the job that makes me feel bad?

You need a diagnosis

I can’t tell you to leave your job. If you think you can stop working and still survive adequately, then by all means go ahead. If you simply don’t like that job and the symptoms you have are manageable, look for another job. It doesn’t hurt to request disability income if you need it.

I live at my mom’s home and because I was working only 2 hours per day I have a financial aid for now so I can survive

The job in itself I don’t hate it, it’s the environment that makes me feel bad

I’m anxious going there and I keep crying when I think about going there (I have difficulties to sleep too)

Thank you

Because FreeLunch told me I need a diagnosis to ask disability income, I will wait for my diagnosis and I’ll ask for the disability income if I need

I don’t know your symptoms or what exactly you’re going through. I think you need to find doctors who are kind to you and willing to listen so you can get a better idea on how to proceed. I also think counseling could help you

Yes, you generally need a formal medical diagnosis and documentation from a health professional (such as a GP or specialist) to obtain disability income in France. Disability benefits are not granted based on symptoms alone; they require a recognized medical condition that results in a significant, lasting, or permanent limitation on your ability to work or perform daily tasks.

Key Requirements to Access Disability Income (AAH or Pension):

Medical Certificate (Certificat Médical): A required document, less than 1 year old, filled out by a doctor describing your health condition, its functional consequences, and ongoing treatments.

Assessment by MDPH: The Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées (MDPH) evaluates your application based on this medical evidence.

Degree of Inability: To qualify for the Adult Disability Allowance (AAH), you typically need a disability rating of at least 80%, or between 50%-79% with a “substantial and long-term” restriction on accessing employment.

Alternative Pathway (Pension d’invalidité): If you are under 60 and have worked, you may qualify for a disability pension if your working capacity is reduced by at least 2/3 (over 66.7%) due to a non-work-related illness or accident.

Process for Securing Benefits:

Consult a GP/Doctor: Obtain a detailed medical file and a specific medical certificate for the MDPH.

Submit to MDPH: Fill out the application form (Form 15692*01) along with the medical certificate, proof of identity, and proof of residence.

Wait for Assessment: A team of professionals will review your file to evaluate your needs.

Note: For the “Reconnaissance de la Qualité de Travailleur Handicapé” (RQTH - Recognition of Disabled Worker Quality), which helps with workplace accommodations, you also need to submit a file to the MDPH proving your condition.

My doctor was really compassionate to me when I explained to her how this job makes me feel

She talked about a sick leave without me asking

She said she doesn’t want me to be in a bad environment at work and told me to ask to change work place but my recruiter didn’t accept

I think she would probably be understanding but at the same time I feel ashamed because she tried to help me like she could

And said she doesn’t want to give me a long sick leave

I don’t want to be a bother

It’s why I thought to talk to another doctor (the doctor of my sister and mom, he works at the same place that my previous doctor that is retired so he has my medical record)

I’d actually start by going back to the Dr who offered sick leave and explain what your family is saying about changing jobs. Tell the doctor how your mom is your legal guardian. If the Dr doesn’t help, go to the other Dr.

You’re not a bother to them. They do that job because it’s what they want to do

Ok, if I keep not being able to go I’ll call her

Maybe if I keep feeling bad I’ll call her just to talk

She said she could only help me with a sick leave last time

But talking with her helped me too

I was really feeling very bad when I talked to her

But it takes time to have an appointement with her , while it’s faster with the other doctor

Once I was really sick and didn’t want to wait so I went to see the other doctor
