To have relapsed so many times. About 11 times.
Why did the hospitals or community teams never do a crisis and contingency plan with me?
And the mood& sleep diary was my idea too. I did it for some of 2024 whilst I was out. Wish I had stuck to it.

Sorry you relapsed so often… something is going wrong. Maybe keep regular contact with your treatment team and take your medicine every day. Keep well…
If only the meds actually worked…
It’s snake oil.
Sounds bad. However don’t give up hope… try a different medication until you find the one and give them time to work
I have similar relapse count
Half were meds failing me and half me coming off because I thought I knew better than the doctors
Eventually they got impatient with me a forced the clozapine whilst I was detained in what they said was voluntary
However, when they delivered this news there were two doctors and that means section from what I have seen before
But it turned out the doctors knew what they were doing on account of how well it helps me
I’m treatment resistant so for me the meds have no impact on my positive symptoms when and if I have them.
I’m probably treatment resistant too.
Do you smoke? Smoking makes meds lose efficiency
Smoking meant my clozapine is 600mg
But I doubt I’ll ever quit
I think efficacy for certain meds like clozapine only. With some cytochrome enzymes.
Idk how anybody handles clozapine.
My lymph nodes were swollen on it. And crazy tachycardia.
And the choking on vomit and saliva at night.
And then there’s the constipation.
I don’t think the meds work for anyone. They just dampen ones mind neurologically.
It’s not a cure.
But bravo for taking it. It’s a lot to handle.
Sure. It’s not a cure.
I have good opinion for clozapine
They use psilocybin cubensis for psychotic depression. I think mushrooms need to be researched for the abilities. Maybe synaptic pruning and neurogenesis.
Not saying people should risk taking psychedelics though. Probably the worst thing for a schizophrenic.
I had tachycardia before I started it
The choking on vomit at night etc only happens now if I eat junk food
But also have hiatus hernia
The constipation has gotten better but still an issue
I think the best effect of the clozapine is that I can sleep on it
Sleep was major problem for a very long time
It really sucks to be on meds like this but I have lost the fight in me to try and mess with things
I was offered mushrooms and i said no, it’s bad for schizo
I took a lot of mushrooms and LSD in the past
Probably did not help
Not only for schizos but also normal people.
A young girl i know, took mushrooms the other day and had a bad trip full of horror and panic. I don’t want this in my life
Only had one relapse due to stopping meds but lasted 2 years. They wanted to put me on Clozapine.
Yes it’s really frustrating tó relapse that much but the condition is very complex in early youth. I know that from my early 20 sh. Here in my 50 sh everything is peaceful and quiet. I don’t think I’ll ever get admitted again because my meds keep me peaceful and well.
My condition has been complex apparently ever since my first inpatient at age 15. Though I was definitely psychotic looking back, no one told ME what my dx was and my mom says she doesn’t even remember. So I just thought (on my own with no one telling me) it was depression or some such thing in my early 20s and then relapsed several times and couldn’t keep a job regularly. I did finish my BA degree but it took ten years instead of four. The doc dx me with bipolar 1 with Psychosis in my early 30s. With twenty mg of ZYPREXA on board I stayed relatively stable except for a few hospitalizations for fifteen years. Then ZYPREXA conked out on me and I went into one terrible psychotic episode after another. I’ve been hospitalized 10 times in the past five years. So maybe 20 times in my life? . I dunno I’ve lost count. Eventually the doc said that I definitely have schizophrenia and he didn’t know why doctors kept misdiagnosing me. I think maybe bc my ability to engage in detailed conversation has been impaired for many many years. So I’m in my mid 50s and I finally have five months clear of most psychosis. The road isn’t easy for any us.
I was bad for 12 years. Just paranoid like it’s nothing. Of all that years ive made very mistake. At my house no one come anymore. Once been in psihiatric hospital. From than the prescription me haloperidol. That’s very old pills. I tommorow go at p doctor to prescription new. Fingers across.
