Apparently there is a match coming up in early April on Netflix. Tyson fury vs someone. Hopefully they will have an undercard as well.
I know some of you are into the Ultimate fighting, MMA kind of stuff , or whatever its called, but I’m old school.
Boxing has really seemed to die out a lot the last few decades but I’m hoping I can find enough matches somewhere to keep my interest.
They used to have “Friday night fights’ on cable and specials on the pay channels alot when I was younger but HBO and Showtime have become mostly irrelevant compared to all the streaming services. Does pay per view even exist anymore? I dont know. THey used to have fights on there as well.
The UFC doesn’t have Pay-per-view anymore, you get all the UFC fights on Paramount+. They had Gaethje-Pimblett so they carry all the big fights and a years subscription to Paramount+ is like $99 plus you get all the additional programming.
If you get a yearly subscription to Walmart Plus you get unlimited delivery of grocery orders over $35 for free (so to speak), you get Paramount+ free (or Peacock, your choice), you get 25% off of Burger King, free shipping on lots of orders and some other benefits. Walmart Plus cost $100 a year but you can get it for $50 a year by filling out a simple form and uploading proof of SNAP benefits or Medicaid or if you’re a student.
Im not really interested in watching it. But I do want to do some boxing training in person. Would be really good for me i reckon. I did a bit of muay thai here and there but not enough to really remember much of it.
I read somewhere idk if it’s true or not.. they say you get “access” to UFC paylerview through paramount, but that “access” only means your availabile to buy it (perhaps with a discount) through your paramount subscription lol
I was reading about it yesterday after the original post and someone on Reddit said that. Would suck it you paid 100$ and had to pay again for the events lol
I started looking into it and apparently there is a match this saturday on amazon prime and then a match the following weekend on netflix. It looks like there is a premium streaming service called DZN which handles a lot of the matches but Im not ready to commit to that yet as its like 20 dollars a month for the basic service and 30 or 40 for the service that gives you pay per view events for free.
