Trying to regain some of my boxing knowledge

I stopped watching boxing as much around the time when Klitcho(spelling) was becoming the dominate force in the heavyweight division.

I feel its more exciting when you know the fighters better, so in an effort to warm myself up for the Tyson Fury fight tomorrow, last night I went back in DAZN history and found the match where he lost his belt to Oleksandr Usyk.

It was a close fight despite the fact that Fury was completely out on his feat and one point and it looked close to be called off by the referee.

I guess there was a second fury-Usyk fight which was won by Usyk by a relatively close unanimous decision but I could not find that fight in the old fights on DAZN.

Anyway, just wetting my appetite for the Tyson Fury bout tomorrow(technically later today since its almost 3am). Don’t know much about his opponent. Hoping for an exciting match.

On another note in the boxing realm…..I am currently playtesting a game that has not yet been released on Steam called “corner king : Boxing Tycoon” which the developer says he plans to release this summer.

Its a management style boxing tycoon game where you offer contracts and manage your fighters throughout their careers. It has a ways to go yet, but I am hoping it will be a great game when its finished for people who enjoy these kinds of managment games like I do.

Thats Awesome @POET .

Looking great n good on you for keeping up with your exervises.

Yearzzzz ago i attended a few Boxing classes at gym and loved it.

We boxed against cushions that partner held and swapped and different upper cuts snd few other basic ones.

I probably dont have that type of energy usually.

Would love to do something like that with people good to and for me snd inclusive n safe n good environment and held by professional n no bullying n bs etc.

My Favourite night tshirt (nightie kinda) says Boxing Club on it.

I got it from a second hand shop i think.

Amazzzing how they concent to possibility of beingbpunched in the face n nose broken n black eyes etc.

I was seeing a kick Boxer once who wanted to compete.

He took me to a match but we werent there long .

Five minutes maybe.

Dont remember much just that everyone looked so gorgeous n fit n great energy going on i think.

Just remember the energy in the room.

He spoke with someone.

Cant remember anything else.

Tyson Fury. It was not a super exciting one, though. It was alright I guess but not a real barn burner.

12 round unanimous decision to Fury.

Yeah I saw the highlights. It was nothing exciting. Just a “pay day win” for him.

To take up boxing you need a good baseline of strength and fitness. You need someone you can spar with - and be prepared to hit them and likewise be hit by them. Thats the most fundamentals you need.

Unless of course you just want to do “boxercise”
