Incident at school yesterday

As some of you are aware I’ve been having difficulties with my eldest son for some time and he waiting for an autism assessment and is already diagnosed with AFRID.

Yesterday at school there was an incident. I got a text message after school pick up from my son’s friends mother. She said when she picked him up his nose was bleeding. However she had no incident report no first aid had been given and the teacher was clueless and didn’t even know his nose was bleeding.

She then said she asked her son what happened on the way home and apparently my son had hit him in class. When confronted my son has admitted it and apologised.

I don’t know why he did it and also I’m really annoyed (as is the other parent) that his teacher was unaware.

There have been a lot of complaints about this teacher. She started in September and I don’t think she can control the class.

Anyway I rang the school and told the head teacher what had happened. And that I expect him to face consequences today.

Bad that your son struck someone, but until the whole story is out I wouldn’t judge him. I took a lot of crap from kids growing up and never punched any until around grade 7 when I flurried a kid in the head. It’s bad to punch, but it’s also bad to be picked on. I don’t know what happened, but whole story needed.

I agree with @Schizbro I think your son could have been under pressure. Best to ask him what happened.

Thanks guys. Going to pick up my boys in 5 minutes. Dreading to hear if there has maybe been another incident at school.

I’m making sure I’m last in line to collect to save embarrassment in front of other parents incase something else has happened. Ugh.
