You should be able to quit if you’ve just been taking it for a month.

If you share this with your doctor they will help titrate you off it and offer a replacement that is not addictive or less addictive.
Edit: It may also be that you’re not addicted, but are worrying that you are (which is good, it means you’re being responsible). The doctor can help you assess this.
