It is not easy to find a job

I just keep getting rejected for warehouse picker packer jobs.

Nearly fell into one scam job.

Dam idk what to do :sob:

Maybe i need to go back into support work.

Its not an easy job.

Changing pads, using hoists, listening to abuse. Showering heavy ppl on a comode.

Does anyone have experience in that.

With any advice? :folded_hands:

I’ve had multiple warehouse picker jobs through out the years. Never enjoyed any of them.

What job would you prefer to do?

Did all that for years, nearly 25 years ago - pulling nights in a nursing home - its where i met the wife. Yeah - that stuff is hard work. Was always way to hot as well - so you would sweat your arse off lol.

My favorite job was working at a gym.

I would prefer warehouse to patient care. That’s my opinion. Don’t have to deal with people. Do the job go home.

Yeah the climate / market is really bad for a lot of people.

That sounds quite like a good job.

I could not do support work @Zoe I was out of work for 3 years so i completely understand it’s hard out there…. I don’t know why it was more difficult than before… I accepted something fro now but its zero hours and only 3 times a month. better than nothing but still something.

Once did a trial as a cleaner in a gym that was a tonne of cleaning.

Yeah cleaning was a big part of my job. I didn’t mind it because I worked night shift and there wasn’t much people in the gym.

Oooh wow sounds alright!

Security companies are always looking for mature, reliable people. I liked night shifts where I was the only person on the property. They don’t want heroes, either. They want people who are willing to observe and call in the police. Look into that?

Do you want to work to keep busy? Cos UC and PIP and having free time is a pretty sweet life.

I claim and don’t work and spend my time on music, gaming, weight lifting etc.

People I know that work say that I’m lucky.

Do they have Amazon around you? They’re usually pretty easy to get a job.
