I’m a school crossing guard and I work 8 hrs a week- get £400pm but I would like to do more, I think I am at my limit atm but its hard to tell.. its nice to get thanks from the Adults and Children
what you do and do you enjoy it? how are you coping with the work?
don’t sweat it, Its taken me a long, long time and I have been dedicated to working but I was very lucky with my job, I need to do something small and build up my tolerance.
Im a recruitment administrator and its quite chill but soul destroying at times. I want to get back into pursuing cyber security so I can earn more money and do something more meaningful to me.
Been doing janitorial work at the same job for 15 years. It gets boring sometimes but I can do whatever they ask me even with my bad back, with my back in the shape it’s in, now I couldn’t do half the jobs I had in the past. Last year I cut my hours to ten hours a week at $21 an hour.
that is a good job, the guy who is my go to person at the school is basically the janitor and he does odd jobs here and there every day, it looks like an easy job so I am hoping I could do something like that, he even has a cleaner helping him, I think a lot of the time they just sit in the janitors office.
@see121 best of luck with it, its great to feel appreciated
@Mountain I just had a message from a job centre asking me if I need help but I don’t need to reply, I’ll be using an employment charity again. best of luck with the cyber security
@Zoe what are you going to do now? relax for a while?
Yeh im gonna relax for couple of weeks months, work on my health again since b4 things didnt work out regarding that. I will re start my job search in 3 months.
Last 2 jobs were a few years ago, data entry lasted a year and QA in video games studio lasted a month. I am tired of not keeping jobs sometimes I quit after training or after 2 weeks lol I stopped trying since on risperidone. I did an online IT degree but dropped after reaching 30℅ as it was becoming too hard and I have cognitive problems due to sz.
My last job I worked as a programmer. I made data entry apps, maps, procedural geometry generated from database fields for 3D maps. Generated a website product from database data. Also did some reverse engineering stuff of binaries. Used C, C++, Java, C#, SQL, etc. Also made tons of tools for automating things and security and data integrity. Secured stuff to government standards.
