What it tells me is that things have improved immensely from when I was a young adult with schizophrenia. Back then you were regarded as totally f****d when it came to anything that required even a low average level of intelligence. There wasn’t the help and support then that there is now.

Not yet. But I’ve applied to this company before. I didn’t get the role but when I asked about whether they have other roles they said they’d get back to me and never did. So maybe they won’t get back to me…

That’s not nice of them, I’m sorry :disappointed_face:

I remember applying to an insurance firm once, a couple times. And when they interviewed me he got unprofessional and gave me bad vibes. If these potential employers of yours give signs of negativity, it’s probably a safe call to move on , dodging a bullet kind of thing​:sob:

Yeah better off not working for them. it’s frustrating when the ghosting happens though. I was out of work 3 years and that was the first id been out of work for more than 6 months. Definitely something going on involving AI.

I hear you, it’s an awfully stifling situation. Job hunting is suffocating naturally but even more so when the jobs aren’t there to begin with.

I’ve even been applying to apprenticeships ! And those are usually exclusive for people who’ve just left education, secondary/college/university depending on the level of the programme.

I hope companies start to find places where jobs are needed quickly. For all our sakes :smiling_face_with_tear:

Sorry if i was being abrupt ive been awake all night and my dad was preaching to me which did my head in.

Hope it all goes well at Uni if you decide to take it
