March was hell for me

So in March I started having evening panic attacks. I went to the ER multiple times, called the crisis line multiple times and 911 once.

I was put on ativan, hydroxyzine, and mirtazapine. I only ended up taking 1 and half doses of ativan, a bunch of hydroxyzine and two doses of mirtazapine.

Now I’ve stopped taking all of them since I am feeling better, but still taking my daily rexulti.

I am going to start practicing better sleep hygiene. I am keeping my smart phone turned off and in a drawer from now on, because constantly reaching for it when I am bored in bed at night trying to fall asleep is keeping me awake.

I am also going to bed at 8pm every night to stop the panic attacks before they start at night.

SOrry you had a rough March. Hope you have a better April. Warmer weather is coming most places so we have that to look forward to.

March wasnt bad for us. Sold the condo and thats a biggie and a big load off our minds….and budget.

The only thing that really helped me with panic attacks was chromax. Or high chromium supplement, maybe 1000mg.

What do you think caused them and/or caused them to stop?

THC use caused them. Being on Seroquel for a while stopped them. I still get a few every so often but not much anymore.

Unfortunately I did use thc one time at the beginning of march for one day and that might have brought them on for the whole month. I’m hoping that now that they are stopped and I wont use thc again that they will be gone.

Yep that’ll do it. I used THC once in my entire life and it did that. The longer you’re off it the better.

Good sleep hygiene will help. Also for panic attacks look up the DBT skill called TIPP. It helps
