Ask ur hubby to take u there to the hospital. The enotional support on the way to the hospital might make u feel better

Update: the hospital had no appointment or queue system, it was on a severest first basis. That put me least priority with an abscess , which meant sitting up to 11 hours on hard chairs in a busy waiting room.
I just couldn’t do it
I’m going to carry on with the antibiotics for a week, hope it bursts, then see gp
I feel worn out i was there a few hrs, its a lot to cope with. Wouldve been better if theyd said a time

I once had a cyst it eventually burst after a long hot bath and prodding.
I went to get it done at surgery before hand but i also left. The anasthetic was not powerful enuf for me.
I hope ur thing bursts!!
I am so sorry the hospital did that to you. Can you schedule an appointment to have it done?

I ended up going back to the hospital today as its looking worse, a doctor saw me and has referred me to the breast clinic tomorrow morning, they may use ultrasound and operate. I may have to stay in overnight.
Tbh im nervous and tired its been exhausting staying for hours on end in a waiting room with hard chairs and paranoia people are talking and whispering about me. Looking at me strange. I need this to be sorted tomorrow im exhausted

It hasn’t burst but the redness has spread all underneath. Yea i’ll be getting there for 9am with hubby

The infection is spreading. I’m glad that you are going tomorrow. You might have to wait but it will be worth it. Bring headphones, music and sleeping mask so you can focus on being calm in a busy and stressful environment.

Thankyou i reckon it is spreading. I have to have a mammogram as well i think. Oh gosh its all happening and its super embarrassing for me honestly, im just having to get on with it and throw dignity out the window! I can’t relax in hospital im really on edge the whole time but thanks anyway @sweetpotatopie

Yes I think you should take ibuprofen and put an ice pack on it to keep swelling down.

Had the procedure this morning at the breast clinic, they ultrasound it and drained a bit but said it should clear up entirely with antibiotics. Theyve given me another prescription for stronger antibiotics. Ive to keep dressing on for 24 hrs…i got this…next friday final checkup… yay!
Heres me worrying about cancer …im so friggin lucky, if i’d had some sleep last night i would be ecstatic
