Ok,they should give you for few days after,it’s hard to put tube without damaging penis canal tissue.It would probably pass,but call them tomorrow if continues ..

I’m glad the surgery went well. I catheterize myself every time I pee so I understand what that feels like. It’s definitely irritating. Some lubricants work better than others. It should get better over the next 1-2 days

I hated been catheterized during my appendectomy surgery.
I was fully conscious when the nurses put a tube in me.

That is awful! They did it to me when I was under… in fact I didn’t even know about it until I got home and peed. @Wave how long until I can eat and sleep again? I am day 1 post op

I don’t see it persisting for more than 3 weeks.
It’s best to contact your doctor if it persists for more than a few weeks @Rainstorm
