Can you remind me who you are?

Dedicate yourself to one instrument and then 10,000 hours later you’ll be a master! That is the secret to beoming a master at anything, the damn 10,000 hours!

Yea…I think im gonna do sax as my main but because I can play a little guitar im gonna try to just learn to play lead so I dont have to keep using vst for the guitar.

Dreamer45 said the same thing. ..that it would be hard to master multiple instruments tho..

I got my singing voice out for this effort and then added some of my poetry.

Lots of synths and melodies tied up in this one.

Positive words too (@Signless

I put this under Downbeat on this one @everhopeful , what do you think?

What do you think of my singing voice? :singer: :microphone:

Hope you enjoy it everyone?

It’s really good ! An enjoyable listen !

If it were me, I’d put it into the shoegaze or dream pop genre .

Good signing voice too !

Yet again, I’m amazed you can make something like this on your own in such little time.

Thanks for the insight!

I must be prolific churning out these melodies so quickly.

I am hoping just one will turn out to be the ‘one’.

Glad you enjoyed it too.

Can you move this thread to ‘Creativity’ please @Wave @Agent101g ?

Nice one! Thanks

Im on cubase 13. Its a good daw but I hear abelton is excellent too!!!

Also bro… Im Getting one of these when i have the cash to spare !!! :musical_keyboard::musical_note::money_mouth_face:

I am selling it on unfortunately.

I am not paying £300 for a new DAW which cubase 15 crossover costs.

That would be loads of money just to use an instrument.

What about abelton?

Also.. another option is to wait for a sale. Ive seen cubase at like 50% off around christmas before :christmas_tree:

Still you are talking about £250-300 for a decent DAW.

I resent having to give up fl studio too, even though it is limited.

If I add up the cost. The roli signature edition cost me £310, the software £48, then I bought two more lightpads which came to £110 then I have to pay £300 for a DAW.

Silly money for the privilege at £468 plus a DAW to use it £300.

Not worth it to me.

I have started the return of the extra lightpads so that is guaranteed. and put the seaboard signature edition on ebay now.

Oh ok..makes sense. If I had the cash I would grab it from you but my next purchase is gonna be a hollow body guitar for jazz.

I guess even though the mpe is really cool/useful its not essential. Maybe down the line things will line up and you get another then …

I am looking at a sitar instead.

I just got my guitar out and tuned after a 4 month hiatus.

Got to build up those callouses again lol ouch!

Right on bro!!! Sitar would go hard on your music :musical_notes: along with the hand drums you have
